We are the Johnson family. The typical "Perfect american" family, one precious girl and handsome son, both our biological children. We were done having children and really felt whole with our family until one day in September 2009.
Our story begins with a friend adopting from the Country of Sierra Leone several years ago. For those of you who don't know where Sierra Leone is, it is in West Africa right off the coast. We began following her amazing journey of her adoption and in September of 2009 she started a Children's Center there which now houses 84 precious children. In September 2009 while we were following her amazing journey God began opening our hearts to a sponsorship of one of the children there. We decided then that we wanted him to join us in his forever family. Since then Tiffany traveled on a Missions trip in May 2010 and Rich traveled in Sept 2009. We both got to meet him and bond with him for the first time. In both our trips there we both connected with another boy and instantly felt God calling us to adopt him as well. We are in the process of bringing both boys home now.
